Honolulu, HI — Veteran goalkeeper Jeremy Zielinski had a solid weekend as Hawai`i Pacific toured the Pacific Northwest with matches at Western Oregon and Saint Martin’s. He gave up a lone goal in the season opener against WOU (in the first-ever match for the Wolves) in the 71st minute, but also had four saves in the match. In a shutout at St. Martin’s (0-0), he recorded four more saves and directed the Shark defense to the blanking. The northern California native is second in the PacWest in saves (8) and save percentage (.889) and now has 137 career saves in his HPU career. Up next for the Sharks and Zielinski is Cal Poly Humboldt on Thursday at 7 pm in the Waipio Soccer Stadium.
