Kamehameha graduate, standout Utah Utes defensive player Mika Tafua, a Laie native, played his last college game Saturday in the Rose Bowl. He recorded one tackle in the 48-45 loss against Ohio State.
This was already one of the most memorable games of the 2021-2022 season.
Tafua on December 20 of last year declared that he will enter the 2022 NFL Draft. He will forgo his college eligibility.
Aliki Vimahi, a Kahuku alum, also had a tackled for the Utes.
Aliki Vimahi and his brother Enokk Vimahi who plays for Ohio State, were on opposite sides in this matchup.
Palaie Gaoteote, a native of Halawa, made a tackle for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
