DAVIS, Calif. – The University of Hawai’i track and field team began the Big West Championships today with the women’s heptathlon at Woody Wilson Track at the host site UC Davis.
 
The Rainbow Wahine has two athletes, sophomore Sammie Gordon and sophomore Anna Marx, who competed on day one of the heptathlon.
 
After completing the first day, both Gordon and Marx sit in a tie for sixth place, as they each have accumulated 2709 points.
