Coach Chang was officially introduced as the 25th head coach of the University of Hawaii Warriors head football coach.
Coach Chang took part in an in-person ceremony, which included short speeches by David Lassner, UH president, and David Matlin, athletics director.
Other speakers included Jonah Panoke, current Warrior receiver, and Michael Lafaele an ex-Warriors defensive lineman.
The ceremony was held at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
Timmy Chang then spoke to the select crowd of alumni, players, media and other members from the Hawaii athletic department.
Chang talked about the honor of coaching at his alma mater and what it will take to help the current team and the program recover from a turbulent two years.
