Tim Boyce was named head coach of the University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine track and field and cross country teams by Athletic Director David Matlin on July 19, 2017. He takes the program’s reins after completing his third season (2016-17) on the staff as the associate coach for distance events, as well as the cross country coach. Utilizing his vast recruiting contacts in the Pacific Northwest, under Boyce the distance corps built up its roster to a squad has proven a program on the rise, reaching heights not seen in over a decade.
