TULSA, Okla.—Three University of Hawai’i men’s tennis players will be competing in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s All-American Championships this weekend. Juniors Axel Labrunie, Guillaume Tattevin and 24th-ranked senior Andre Ilagan will compete in the nine-day tournament which will be held at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa and Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park in Tulsa, Okla..
Both Labrunie and Tattevin will begin as Pre-Qualifiers beginning on Saturday, Oct. 1. They are two of 256 to be battling to advance in the prestigious tournament. If they win their Pre-Qualifying matches, they will enter the Qualifying Round of 128 on Monday, Oct. 3. Both Labrunie and Tattevin will begin in the Round of 256 playing at the University of Tulsa site at 10:30 a.m. HT. Labrunie will take on Oral Roberts’ Gustavo Pinho on, while Tattevin will battle Leo Raquin of Temple.
