The number 3 ranked University of Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors men’s volleyball team will host a non-conference three-match series at SimpliFi Arena, Stan Sheriff Center.
This week, the number 15 Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, head to Hawaii for the matches. The matches will be played starting Friday, February 18th thru Sunday February 20th.
The LMU Railsplittersare are 8-0. They are one of two remaining undefeated teams in the country in Division I-II. The Concordia-Irvine Eagles are the other team at 6-0.
The UH Rainbow Warriors are 10-2 and entering this series on a six-match winning streak.
The Railsplitters are ranked nationally in the AVCA’s national rankings last week. This makes it the first independent team to do so.
LMU and Hawai’i have met four times before, with the Rainbow Warriors taking all four of the matches in straight sets.
LMU and UH are the top-two national blocking teams. Hawai’i leads the nation with 3.2 blocks per set, while LMU is No. 2.
