HILO, Hawai’i– The UH Hilo softball team just returned from a 15-game road trip where they faced some of the best teams in the conference.
The Vulcans (14-17, 10-12 PacWest Conference) are now preparing for their last two home series. Their next games are Monday (Apr. 11) and Tuesday (Apr. 12) at 12 and 2pm at the UHH Softball Field against Academy of Art.
UH Hilo is currently fourth in conference behind Concordia (24-0), Azusa Pacific (18-6), and Biola (13-9 PacWest).
The Vulcans have the third best pitching staff and fielding percentage in the league. Freshman Alexis Lacy has the eighth best ERA in the conference (1.96 ERA). Taisha Bratton is tied with three others for the best fielding percentage in the conference. Jayda Favela also leads with the third-most stolen bases in the PacWest (15).
