HONOLULU—Lower Campus Road at the University of Hawai’i is at its busiest as the Rainbow Wahine soccer team officially opened fall camp on Tuesday morning.
With the 26-person roster in attendance, head coach Michele Nagamine, entering her 12th season at the program’s helm, began with their standard physical testing before partaking in full-on training and practicing later in the week. The squad will leave campus for the next two days for team building and off-campus training before returning to Mānoa on Thursday.
With 16 returnees, four seniors headline the group. All-Big West second team members, forward Kelci Sumida, midfielder Eliza Ammendolia, defender Julia Wolfe and goalkeeper Lauren Marquez.
