Seabury Hall Spartans to Play for D-II State Championship
BOY’S VOLLEYBALL

At the HHSAA Division II state tournament semifinal game at the Kalani gym Thomas Russell smashed 21 kills. This helped the Seabury Hall Spartans boys’ volleyball team overcome a 0-2 deficit and defeat the Nanakuli Golden Eagles in five sets.

Russell added seven digs for the Spartans. The Maui Interscholastic League champion Spartans (9-2), defeated the Golden Hawks (11-3), 22-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-12, and 15-12 to earn their place in the D-II championship match. The match is at 5 p.m. today at Blaisdell Arena.
