
The number 3 seed, in the Hawai’i High School Athletic Association Division 2 girls basketball state championships, is the Kaua’i High Red Raiders. The tournament opens Wednesday at Kalani High School on O’ahu.
The Hawai’i High School Athletic Association announced Saturday night that the seeded teams will receive a bye on the opening day. The Kaua’i Interscholastic Association’s Red Raiders will face the winner of the non-seeded contest. They will play the winner of the Hawaii Baptist Academy verse Pearl City game.
