HONOLULU — University of Hawai’i men’s basketball coach Eran Ganot announced the addition of Ryan Rapp to the 2022-23 Rainbow Warriors roster. Rapp spent the last three seasons at Washington State and will have two years of eligibility upon his arrival in Manoa this summer.
A 6-5, 190-pounds, Rapp brings versatility to the program with his capability to play both backcourt positions as well as the wing. He appeared in 54 games over three years at Washington State. During the 2020-21 campaign he started four games for the Cougars, including a game versus eventual Final Four squad UCLA in which he posted eight rebounds and eight assists. This past season he was part of a Cougar squad that advanced to the NIT semifinals for just the second time in program history.
