HILO, Hawai’i–The UHH Tennis Courts have have been refurbished with improved drainage, a remodeled hitting court, brand new fencing, and the addition of two pickleball courts.
“We are grateful to our friends in UHH Facilities Planning and especially to construction manager Brian Hill for their efforts in coordinating this project,” stated Athletic Director Patrick Guillen. “A big mahalo also to our UH Hilo senior administration for making this a high-priority for our campus. Without their support this project would not be possible. These new courts are a game-changer for our nationally recognized Vulcans tennis programs and greatly enhance the student experience here at UH Hilo. This new facility is also a wonderful addition to our community who utilizes our courts on a daily basis.”
The tennis courts were completely demolished and resurfaced with the Laykold Surfacing System.
