
After four innings of play against Waimea High School Menehune the Kapa’a High School Warriors softball team fell behind 4-2.
The opening game of the Kaua’i Interscholastic Federation softball season was on Wednesday at the Waimea Canyon Park.
With one out and two runners on base, Kapa’a catcher Savannah Simons, smacked Waimea’s Taeler Camele second pitch for a left field home run in the fifth inning. This shot put the Warriors up 5-4.
