
The Waimea Menehune girls basketball opened their KIF season with a 47-41 win over the Kaua‘i Red Raiders on Wednesday night. The Clem Gomes Gym was filled with spectators for the game.
The Menehune, who finished the first quarter with nine points and were led by Tristan Raposas dropping five points and Maryjoy Angala and Ari Acosta each added a bucket.
