Kale Spencer is now playing volleyball on the Kaulahenuiokamoku Gym at Kamehameha Schools Maui campus.
Spencer returned from COVID quarantine protocols Tuesday and he did a little of everything to help the Kamehameha Maui Warriors win their third match of three this season. They beat the King Kekaulike Na Alii in four sets. (24-26, 25-20, 25-21, and 25-19 on Thursday night.
Spencer scored 24 kills and eight digs in the last three sets.
Jai Viela recorded 20 assists, 11 digs, and two aces. Logan Rickard had four kills, three aces, while Po’okela had three kills. Nahale Dukelow had two blocks, Cody Gardanier had three.
Spencer who was blocked by Na Alii Lance Buzianis, which gave the Na Alii a 25-24 advantage in the first set. Spencer’s next swing hit the pin. The set was won by King Kekaulike.
The 3-0 Kamehameha Warriors were able to get things moving after that.
