IRVINE, Calif. – Hawai’i Pacific University’s Lily Landt was chosen to the 2022 All-PacWest Conference Golf Team when the conference announced the selections on Tuesday.
Landt, a freshman from Reno, Nev./Wooster, was named to the All-PacWest Third Team. She set a school record with her 78.55 season scoring average, the first HPU women’s golfer to average below 80.00 for the season.
Landt tied for sixth at the 2022 PacWest Conference Championships, just missing the school 54-hole record with a 14-over 230. In the second round of the championship, she smashed the HPU single round record with a 2-under 70 – the first time and HPU women’s golfer fired par or better. She also had a fourth place finish at the season-opening HPU Sharks Shootout, and four finishes of 21 or better in her first campaign as a collegian.
The Sharks finished the season at the PacWest Championships, but not before posting a school record team scoring average of 331.15 for the 2021-22 season.
