Next week, Kamehameha–Maui and Kapa’a will be in the HHSAA Division II championship game.
Both of the teams, each called the Warriors, earned their spots in the championship with wins at Farrington’s SkippaDiaz Stadium on Wednesday night.
Kapa’a defeated Hawaii Prepatory Academy 51-0 in the semifinals. This was a result of a dominant effort on both ends of the ball.
Kamehameha Maui defeated Kaiser 48-24 in the semifinal. Makana Kamaka–Brayce completed 20 passes for 369 yards, and four touchdowns.
Kamehameha-Maui and Kapa’a will be battling it out in the Hawaii D-II championship game at Farrington on December 30th at 7 p.m.
