Hawaii Pacific University Sharks men’s tennis team held on to fourth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II Men’s Rankings.
The Sharks (10-0), who have played an all Division II schedule this year, hold a 60.81 rating. Ahead of HPU is Saint Leo (Fla.), (12-3) in third with a 72.492 and ahead of North Georgia, in fifth, at 59.385.
The Sharks boasts two singles and a doubles team ranked nationally this week.
Robin Sanz fell to number 4, while Jordi Walder is second nationally. Jan Pleva and Walder were ranked 21st in doubles.
The No. 1 ranking remained at Columbus State (Ga.), (11-1) with a 79.508 Rating to keep ahead of Barry (Fla.), the defending national champion (13-4) at 75.794.
This weekend, the Sharks return to the court. The HPU Sharks are visiting the Big Island, today, to face the Hawaii Hilo Vulcans in a match at 1 p.m at the UH-Hilo Tennis Courts.
