After committing to Boise State earlier this year, Roosevelt’s standout edge rusher and linebacker Kaeo Akana signed with Utah. Akana received over a dozen offers from Power Five schools.
Jonah Savaiinaea, the Saint Louis lineman, signed with the Arizona Wildcats. He had committed to Arizona in June and chose UA over six other options.
Tevarua Tafiti Punahou’s great edge rusher, he was regarded by many as the best college prospect in the state of Hawaii. He made his commitment to Stanford on Wednesday morning.
The Broncos came away with some top talent from Hawaii, despite Akana’s departure from Boise State. On Wednesday morning, Keenan McCaddy from Moanalua, a two way star, signed with the school. He plans to play safety for Boise State.
Saint Louis’ standout offensive lineman La’akea Kakopoi has signed with San Diego State. He chose the Aztecs over a dozen other offers, number 2 Michigan being one of those schools.
In other news, Chevan Cordeiro, the former University of Hawaii quarterback, signed with San Jose State on Wednesday.
