Eugene Ford, a former defensive back for the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, began his journey to an NFL dream.
On Tuesday Ford signed a contract as a free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Ford signed the standard three-year contract as an undrafted free agent. A rookie who is active for the whole 2022 season will be paid the base salary of $705,000. Fords signing bonus is guaranteed
Ford will report to Jaguars’ minicamp May 11th, with the first workouts set for May 12th. He is expected to compete at safety.
Last week’s NFL Draft saw no Rainbow Warriors selected.
However, Ford also received interest from the Cardinals Dolphins as well as the Panthers, Giants.
