CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A school-record five University of Hawai’i women’s golfers were selected to the All-American Scholar Team announced by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
The five honorees – senior Hana Mirnik and freshmen Ting-Yu Liu, Hyeonji Kang, Mayumi Umezu, and Momo Sugiyama – are the most in a single-season in program history.
Mirnik earned her fourth selection – twice as a Rainbow Wahine and twice at Wichita State, where she competed prior to transferring to Hawai’i. Liu, Kang, Umezu, and Sugiyama each completed their first seasons at UH.
