IRVINE, Calif. – The PacWest conference announced its weekly awards this morning, and junior Sharks goalkeeper Madi DePhillips earned Defender of the Week.
 
DePhillips, the Washington native, helped the Sharks to their first win of the season last week against Chaminade. She recorded seven saves in the clean sheet victory, the second most of her career.
 
The Sharks (1-3-2) are prepped and ready to host their PacWest opener later today at Waipio Soccer Complex against Academy of Art at 4:30 p.m.
