Cameron Champ has tested positive for coronavirus. Champ has withdrawn his entry from the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
Champ was able to qualify for the winners-only event because he won the 3M Open in Minnesota last year. There are now only 38 players left in the field.
Champ tested positive in Houston, Texas, his home, before he departed for Hawaii to participate in the Sentry Tournament of Champion.
Champ felt good, according to his management team.
Kyle Westmoreland, who was playing in the RSM Classic at the Georgia coast in November and the last official event for 2021, was the last player to withdraw from a PGA event.
