
A Baldwin High School senior, Liana Ferreira, was the state runner up in 2020 at 97 lbs. She won all three matches by pin Saturday, at the MIL, round robin meet at King Kekaulike.
These were her first matches since the 2020 state tournament, which which took place 720 days ago. The COVID-19 pandemic decimated last season, and she missed the first half of this season because she was suffering from COVID.
